
The College of Medicine at the University of Basra held a workshop to commemorate International Human Rights Day, aiming to promote awareness of human rights culture and instill the principles of dignity, justice, and equality within the university community.
The workshop, presented by Dr. Abdulkarim Zayer and Lieutenant Colonel Muntadhar Kadhim Ni'ma, included introductory lectures on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, highlighting its importance and role in protecting fundamental rights and freedoms. Interactive discussions focused on the responsibility of institutions and individuals in respecting and defending human rights.
The workshop witnessed active participation and positive interaction from attendees, contributing to the exchange of opinions and ideas and fostering constructive dialogue.
