The College of Education for Humanities team at the University of Basra won first place in the university's chess championship for university students, with more than twenty players representing various colleges participating.
The championship was marked by an enthusiastic atmosphere and strong competition among the participants, reflecting the high level of skill demonstrated by the students, as well as the spirit of challenge and cooperation that prevailed throughout the matches.
The college team was supervised by Dr. Najm Abbas Eidam, Head of the Student Activities Unit at the College of Education for Humanities
