The Cultural Center Organizes a Workshop on Financial and Banking Inclusion
The Cultural Center at the University of Basra, in cooperation with the Basra branch of the Industrial Bank, organized a scientific workshop on electronic payment and modern banking card services, with the participation of students, professors, and specialists in financial and banking matters.
The Director of the Cultural Center, Professor Dr. Nizar Abdul Mohsen Jafar, mentioned, "We organized the scientific workshop as part of the center's efforts to raise financial awareness and enhance banking culture among staff and students."
The workshop, presented by Professor Ahmed Hassan Nahi, included a review of the concepts of electronic payment systems, the mechanisms of using banking cards, as well as an introduction to the most important modern banking services and their role in facilitating financial transactions and keeping up with technological developments in the banking sector.
