First-semester exams for the 2025-2026 academic year have begun for first-year students, following the newly adopted Bologna Process. This scientific step aligns with global developments in university education.
The examination committees in the scientific departments have prepared all necessary arrangements and made all preparations related to the exams, in accordance with the directives and procedures issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The Bologna Process represents a pioneering and advanced experience being implemented in nursing colleges across Iraqi universities.
For his part, the Dean of the College of Nursing, University of Basra, Assistant Professor Dr. Majid Asghar Mohammed Al-Nawab, explained that the college administration has dedicated all its human and logistical resources to ensure the success of the exams. This includes preparing the examination halls and providing the necessary supplies, as well as continuously monitoring the work of the examination committees, in coordination with the deans' assistants, to guarantee that the exams proceed according to the established plans.
The Dean commended the efforts made by the Vice Deans for Scientific and Administrative Affairs, the teaching staff, and the examination committees, wishing the college students continued success in their academic journey.
