The Cultural Center Launches Campaign on Energy Risks and Reducing Its Emissions
The Cultural Center launched an awareness campaign titled "Energy Risks and Reducing Its Emissions," aiming to raise societal awareness about the importance of energy and to mitigate the environmental and health impacts resulting from improper consumption.
The Director of the Cultural Center, Professor Dr. Nizar Abdul Mohsen Jafar, explained that the campaign is part of the center's efforts to promote environmental culture and support sustainability concepts by highlighting the dangers of environmental pollution and encouraging the adoption of positive behaviors that contribute to reducing carbon emissions, such as rational energy consumption and relying on clean alternatives.
The campaign included distributing brochures and posting informational posters emphasizing the importance of awareness and highlighting the role of individuals and institutions in protecting the environment and achieving sustainable development.
