The Cultural Center Organizes the 'Martyrdom Week' Festival in Coordination with the Popular Mobilization Authority
As part of its ongoing efforts to spread cultural awareness inside and outside the university institution, engage with society's needs, and instill values of ethics and chivalry, the Cultural Center announced the organization of the 'Martyrdom Week' festival in commemoration of Martyr's Day, in coordination with the Popular Mobilization Authority.
The Director of the Cultural Center, Professor Dr. Nizar Abdul Mohsen Jafar, affirmed that holding this festival comes as a tribute to the sacrifices of martyrs and a remembrance of the heroism of the Popular Mobilization in defending the land, honor, and holy sites. He pointed out that these events represent a national and humanitarian message that contributes to raising social awareness and reinforcing values of belonging and sacrifice.
The Director of the Cultural Center explained that they are keen on direct coordination with the officials of the Popular Mobilization Authority to organize and support the festival, ensuring the success of its events and activating the role of the Cultural Center in commemorating national occasions that receive broad community engagement.
This came during the visit of the Director of the Cultural Center to the Popular Mobilization Authority, where mechanisms for joint cooperation and organizing cultural and awareness events highlighting the heroism and sacrifices of the martyrs were discussed.
