With the direct support and continuous follow-up of Professor Dr. Asaad Mohammed Kadhim, Dean of the College of Dentistry, the college's Maintenance Division has commenced maintenance and renovation work at the teaching clinics, coinciding with the students' spring break. This is part of the college's plan to provide a comprehensive educational and health environment at the start of the second semester.
The work includes comprehensive maintenance of equipment and service facilities, addressing technical malfunctions, and improving service aspects to enhance the operational readiness of the teaching clinics, in line with the requirements of the educational process and students' clinical training.
The Dean praised the outstanding efforts of the Maintenance Division staff, commending their dedication and high level of commitment to their duties, their teamwork, and their commitment to completing the work within the specified timeframes and to a high professional standard. This reflects their sense of responsibility and their dedication to supporting the academic and service-oriented mission of the college.
The college administration affirmed its continued full support for all departments and support units, given their pivotal role in providing a suitable educational environment and enhancing the quality of services provided to students and teaching staff, in line with the University of Basra’s vision to improve the academic and service reality.
