Under the patronage of the President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kadhim, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Basra, Assistant Professor Dr. Majid Asghar Muhammad Al-Nawab, and as part of National Quran Day, the Educational Supervision Unit at the College of Nursing, University of Basra, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, organized a blessed Quranic gathering coinciding with the birth anniversaries of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them). The event was attended by a number of faculty members, staff, and students.The gathering included various segments, beginning with beautiful recitations from the Holy Quran, followed by speeches delivered by Mr. Farhan Layth Ayez, a faculty member at the college, who emphasized the importance of holding such gatherings to instill values.
The gathering aimed to strengthen the spiritual and intellectual connection with the Book of God and to activate its role as a moral and scientific reference in the academic community, stemming from the university's responsibility to preserve identity and build the future.
