The Director General of the Marine Science Center, Assistant Professor Dr. Abdul Amir Rahim Jassim, participated in the elections of the Agricultural Engineers Union in Basra.
The Director General stated that the elections were conducted in an atmosphere of democracy, optimism, and fair competition. He pointed out the importance of serving agricultural engineers and fulfilling their aspirations, explaining that agricultural engineers are a group that must be treated fairly and given a role in future projects, with job opportunities available to them to ensure their future.
On the sidelines of the elections, Dr. Abdul Amir met with Dr. Faleh Al-Mousawi, President of the Basra Branch of the Agricultural Engineers Association, explaining to him during the meeting that the Marine Science Center is a key partner for the association and the agricultural directorates in Basra in supporting scientific and training activities related to the aquatic environment and agriculture, serving the local environment and sustainable development.
