Under the guidance of the President of the University of Basra and with direct field supervision from the Director General of the Marine Science Center, the first phase of the volunteer campaign “Our Environment is More Beautiful with Our Hands” was completed with a comprehensive and extensive cleaning campaign at the Marine Science Center as part of ongoing efforts to improve the university environment and upgrade the level of services provided.
The campaign aims to enhance the civilized appearance of the center and create a suitable research and working environment for researchers, in line with the university presidency's focus on the service and aesthetic aspects of all university sites.
Dr. Abdul Amir Rahim Jassim, Director General of the Center, emphasized that such campaigns will continue to be carried out periodically, in coordination with the relevant units, to ensure the sustainability of cleanliness and the preservation of the aesthetics of the university's facilities.
