Prof. Alaa Kamel Salih, the instructor in the Department of History, College of Arts, chaired the discussion committee of the master’s student, Haider Sharif Jabbar, whose thesis entitled "The Image of Muawiya bin Abi Sufyan in the The Genealogical Genealogy Book of Al-Ashraf Al-Baladhari” (n 279 AH / 892 AD): A Critical and Analytical Study". The discussion was held at the College of Arts at Dhi Qar University.
