Under the direct guidance and continuous supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Majid Mohammed Asghar Al-Nawab, Dean of the College of Nursing, and with the follow-up of Assistant Professor Dr. Abdul Karim Salman, Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs,
the rehabilitation and maintenance work of the green spaces within the college gardens continues to enhance their aesthetic appeal.
With the aim of increasing green spaces and providing a suitable climate and environment for students, several areas have been planted with evergreen grass, and the gardens have been adorned with roses and trees that are resistant to environmental conditions and high temperatures during the summer.
Al-Nawab stated that this campaign aims to strengthen the foundations and principles of a model educational environment, which requires providing a healthy climate and suitable environmental conditions for students, faculty, and staff members of the college, in addition to improving the aesthetic appearance and showcasing the university campus in its most beautiful form, thus promoting environmental sustainability.
The MPs stressed that this campaign comes within the framework of sustaining and preserving the gardens, and confirms the university’s keenness on community participation, in addition to promoting positive behaviors to preserve the university’s environment and improve the quality of life.
