Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kadhim, President of the University of Basra, and the direct supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Majid Asghar Muhammad Al-Nawab, Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Basra, the Continuing Education Unit, the Electronic Incubator Unit, and the Student Activities Unit at the College organized a workshop as part of Global Leadership Week for the College of Nursing. The workshop was presented by Engineer Ali Karim, Executive Director of Al-Ittihad General Trading Company.
The workshop covered how to handle exams, how to create an Excel spreadsheet for the database, how to add student names and phone numbers, and how to generate answer sheets in bubble sheet format using Microsoft Word. The workshop also included an introduction to the bubble sheet program, how to input model answers for instructors, how to input student papers into the program, how to read them, and how to display the final results.
The workshop aimed to reduce the burden on the instructor and the examination committee in terms of time and effort, and to improve the speed and accuracy of completing examination papers and the accuracy of results based on the data entered into the system.
