Dr. Hamid Siraj Jaber, a faculty member at the College of Education for Humanities at the University of Basra, participated in the 11th International Conference on Humanities and Social Sciences, held in the Sultanate of Oman. The conference brought together researchers and academics from several Arab and international universities.
Dr. Jaber presented a research paper titled "The Intellectual Application of the Historical Laws of the Qur'an in Achieving Epistemological Integration." In his paper, he explored mechanisms for utilizing the historical laws mentioned in the Holy Qur'an as an intellectual framework that contributes to building a comprehensive epistemological vision. This vision strengthens the connection between the humanities and social sciences and supports contemporary scientific research.
On the sidelines of the conference, Dr. Jaber met with Qais Al-Amiri, the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the Sultanate of Oman, representing the University of Basra. During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance scientific and academic cooperation between Iraqi and Omani universities. The Iraqi Embassy also affirmed its readiness to facilitate the work of Iraqi researchers in the Sultanate and support their scientific contributions
