In cooperation with the career and development Center / Basra University and Southern Technical University, an intensive training workshop was held for a group of liaison members (a group of Basra University teachers) affiliated to the career and development centre / University on Monday December 24, 2018 at the Continuing Education Center / Southern Technical University Basra, where the workshop dealt with introducing the role and tasks of the work of rehabilitation and employment centers, their role in professional and knowledge development, and providing advice and guidance to students. Maher al-Shamkhani, Director of the Continuing Education Center and the Division of Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up at the Southern Technical University, lectured in the workshop and addressed the explanation of the concept of how to integrate the faculty with training and exploit the capabilities and skills of the teaching in the interest of the student and graduate, and arm him with all the skills required for the labor market after graduation and away from the roads Followed classic. Al-Shamkhani was keen to introduce professors to the use of free services available on the Internet with regard to the academic side, such as Google and Gmail applications, and the best sites that provide free training, scholarships and research for students and professors.
