Dr. Nada Mohammed Baqir Al-Yassiri, a faculty member at the College of Education for Humanities at the University of Basra, participated in the Sixth International Scientific Conference on Applied, Social, and Humanistic Research, held at the Czech International University in Sulaimaniyah.
Her participation included presenting a research paper titled "Causes of Suicide and its Relationship to the Negative Use of Technology." The paper explored the complex relationship between the risks of negative technology use and rising suicide rates, warning of the transformation of digital tools from means of communication into triggers for severe psychological disorders.
The research aimed to highlight the intertwined psychological and social dimensions of suicide in the digital age by analyzing the close correlation between the misuse of technological tools and the exacerbation of depression and social isolation
