The College of Education for Pure Sciences, Department of Physics, examined a Master's thesis entitled "A Theoretical Study of Chemical Adhesion of Alkali Atoms on Bilayer Graphene." The thesis, submitted by researcher Batoul Majeed Ajir, utilized the Anderson-Neonz model to study and investigate the chemical adhesion process of alkali atoms on the surface of bilayer graphene. The density of states of pure and perfect bilayer graphene and the effects of quantum coupling (exposure and quantum displacement) were employed to calculate the electronic properties, magnetization, and chemical adhesion energy. The relationship between atomic magnetization and distance from the bilayer plane can be utilized in spin electronics applications. Furthermore, the ionic component of the chemical adhesion energy (which is dominant) provides a clear description of the bonding type with bilayer graphene.
