A faculty member from the Polymer Research Center, Fatima Hameed Malk, received the Scientific Excellence Shield for her participation in the Third Annual Scientific Conference for Graduate Studies at the College of Education for Pure Sciences. She achieved first place in the Physics Department and third place overall in the College of Education for Pure Sciences. The shield was awarded during the conference (May 3-4, 2026) by the Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences in recognition of her research on the preparation of PANI (polyaniene) and PpY (polypyrol) nanotubes and the improvement of their optical and electrical properties using core-shell polymerization.
