This morning, Prof. Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazim, President of the University of Basra, visited the College of Nursing. He was received by Assistant Prof. Dr. Majid Asghar Muhammad Al-Nawab, Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Basra, in the presence of Prof. Dr.
Majid Abdullah Amin, Secretary of the Council.
The visit included monitoring the examination committees and the progress of the exams. He also reviewed the nature of the questions
and the college’s readiness, as well as the provision of a suitable environment for the exams. He also reviewed the examination procedures and grade records and confirmed that the College of Nursing operates in accordance with the Ministry’s instructions and regulations.
The Vice Chancellor also directed all faculty members to address any technical issues should they arise and emphasized the need to provide for all their needs, identify the problems they face, and work to resolve them.
The university president commended the efforts of the College of Nursing, represented by its dean, Prof. Dr. Majid Asghar Muhammad Al-Nawab, as well as the procedures followed during exams and the high level of commitment to implementing the ministry’s program, and called on them to adhere to the procedures and rules in place to ensure the success of the exams and to strengthen the practical foundations of education in Iraq, emphasizing that university students and their teaching staff are eager to acquire knowledge and capable of overcoming all difficulties in the service of our beloved Iraq.
