The Cultural Center Organizes a Seminar on Digital Society and the New Culture
The Cultural Center organized a scientific seminar entitled “Digital Society and the New Culture,” attended by a group of academics and cultural enthusiasts, as part of its efforts to keep pace with the knowledge and technological transformations that the world is witnessing, and to shed light on the impact of digitalization on shaping contemporary awareness and culture.
The seminar aimed to enhance the scientific understanding of the concept of digital society, explore its reflections on the cultural and social structure, as well as raise awareness of the importance of the conscious use of technology in supporting creativity and developing thought.
The seminar included two research papers; Professor Dr. Amal Abdul Rahman Abdul Wahid presented a research paper entitled “Digital Society and the New Culture,” in which she discussed the transformations brought about by digital technology in patterns of thinking, communication, and knowledge production, emphasizing that digital culture has become an active element in shaping contemporary cultural identity.
