Under the direct supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Majid Asghar Muhammad Al-Nawab, Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Basra
The Fundamentals of Nursing Department organized a panel discussion on the course “Fundamentals of Nursing,” which was prepared and presented by a group of first-year students under the supervision of instructors Dr. Zainab Salman Daoud and Dr. Khadija Mohammed Jassim.
The seminar aimed to boost the self-confidence of first-year students and transition them from the role of “recipients” to that of “active participants.” In their presentation, the students used modern illustrative and practical tools that helped convey the ideas to their peers with great flexibility.
The attendees praised the scientific accuracy and organizational approach demonstrated by the students, reflecting the seriousness and diligence of the new generation in our college.
Dr. Maher Abdul Amir Attia, Head of the Fundamentals of Nursing Department, also expressed his delight at seeing first-year students consciously analyzing scientific concepts, emphasizing that the department is dedicating all its resources to supporting these young talents who represent the bright future of the college.
