The College of Nursing at the University of Basra welcomed a ministerial delegation from the committee tasked with monitoring the final assessment exams for the 2025-2026 academic year. They were received by Assistant Professor Dr. Majid Asghar Muhammad al-Nawab, Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Basra
and Assistant Professor Dr. Sundus Baqir Daoud, Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, and Lecturer Dr. Maher Abdul-Amir Attia, Chair of the Examination Committee.
The delegation consisted of Professor Dr. Iyad Qasim Mahdi from the College of Pharmacy and Professor Dr. Ahmed Saleh Mahdi from the College of Education for Pure Sciences
The visit included monitoring the final assessment exams. The college has been committed to ensuring academic integrity and meeting the requirements of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The visiting delegation praised the efforts of the College of Nursing at the University of Basra, the procedures followed by its examination committees, and the high level of commitment to implementing the ministerial program, and strengthening the practical foundations of education in Iraq, emphasizing that university students and faculty are eager to acquire knowledge and capable of overcoming all difficulties in the service of our beloved Iraq.
