
As part of the University of Basrah Presidency's ongoing monitoring of the first-semester final examinations, the examinations supervisory committee visited the College of Dentistry to observe the examination process and the level of organization within the examination halls.
The committee included Professor Dr. Fares Shaker Katea from the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Assistant Professor Dr. Nadhim Zughair from the College of Veterinary Medicine, and Professor Dr. Muhannad Hamed Aboud, Director of the Scientific Affairs Department at the University Presidency. They were received by the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Asaad Mohammed Kadhim.
During their inspection, the committee reviewed the nature of the examination questions and the student seating arrangements in the halls according to the approved seating plan. They also monitored the availability of necessary resources to create a suitable environment for the examinations, as well as the presence of teaching and administrative staff to supervise the examinations both in person and via cameras.
The committee emphasized the importance of adhering to the examination regulations issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and the necessity of their precise application during examinations to ensure fairness and academic integrity among students.
The committee commended the significant efforts exerted by the examination committees and the college administration in organizing the examinations and providing a suitable environment for students, wishing them continued success in service of the university's academic and scientific progress.
