His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Nabil Kazem Abdul-Saheb, and the esteemed opinion board were briefed on the progress of the educational process at the University of Basra in an electronic meeting via video communication sites.
During the virtual meeting, the President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, gave a detailed explanation of the university’s achievements, leadership and long experience in the field of electronic and integrated education management and how it continues by transferring the accumulated experiences to the rest of Iraqi universities to ensure the achievement of educational outputs that meet the ambition and keep pace with development and need in light of the continued spread of the Corona pandemic.
While the director of Avicenna Center and the representative of the university for e-learning, Dr. Uday Bashir Issa, reviewed during the meeting models of the synchronous electronic classes for the college departments and how to manage them according to the schedules and timings announced on the websites and his immediate participation in providing electronic support for those classes.
His Excellency praised the exceptional efforts and tireless work of the university in light of the current health conditions and challenges, expressing some proposals and ideas for the development of e-learning and the success of the educational process throughout our Iraqi university.
