The University of Basra Council held its seventh session for the current academic year at the College of Science, headed by the President of the University, Prof. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, in the presence of the Assistant President of the University for Administrative and Scientific Affairs, and the members of the Council, in addition to hosting the Director of Avicenna E-learning center, Dr. Uday Bashir Issa.
The council discussed the items listed on its agenda, including the proposals submitted by Avicenna E-learning center, which can be adopted for the sobriety of electronic exams in order to achieve the required quality standards as well as learning outcomes.
The proposals included a lecture on the integrity of electronic tests, where many paragraphs were presented, starting with how to prepare questions for the exams, their diversity, the appropriate time factor that suits what the student needs, the use of random questions that appear dissimilarly, in addition to the adoption of other technical means to evaluate the examination process and others.
The Honorable University Council was briefed and discussed extensively by the members of the Council, and made valuable observations for the sobriety of electronic exams and the upgrading of the electronic educational process in our prestigious university.
