The tagged master's thesis (design, preparation and evaluation of the bioactivity of some new charges transport complexes as a collective model) was researched in the College of Pharmacy at University of Basrah by the postgraduate student Muhammad Sabah Kizhi. The thesis included the preparation of charge transport complexes from antihypertensive drugs (Candesartan, Valsartan, Arbesartan, Telmisartan, and Losartan) as charge receptors with simvastatin as a charge receptor, which is one of the drugs that inhibit the level of lipids in the blood. The effect of the complex on the biological efficacy of the component medicines was studied by means of analytical and pharmaceutical methods, as well as on laboratory animals. The study concluded that the composition of the complex may affect the biological activity of the component medicines by increasing or decreasing the effectiveness.
