The Cultural Center holds an intellectual symposium on the occasion of the martyrdom of Imam Musa bin Jaafar Al-Kadhim (p)
On the occasion of the martyrdom of Imam Musa bin Jaafar Al-Kadhim (AS). Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, President of the University of Basra, and under the slogan
"The justice of the oppressed, the title of victory and peace," The Cultural Center, the University of Basra, in cooperation with the South Center for Islamic Culture, held today, Tuesday, 9/3/2021, an intellectual symposium in reviving and commemorating the oppressed. The proceedings of the symposium began with reading an verse from the Holy Quran of the reader Haider Mahdi, followed by the first two words of Professor Dr. Abdul Karim Abboud Awda, Director of the Cultural Center, in which he mentioned the importance of this anniversary of the martyrdom of the Imam in order to uphold the word of truth and defend the faithful thought and challenge all kinds of injustice in order to achieve human humanity. As for the second word, Sheikh Ra'ad Al-Bahli, Director of the South Islamic Center, said, thank God, that we are meeting here to support the oppressed through our model in front of Imam Kadhim, who has devoted himself to religion and Islam, and is an example for Muslims and all of humanity in his defiant position of injustice.
After that, the ceremony organizer announced the proceedings of the symposium, in which Six Hawra Al-Mayahi participated in the session and the researcher Mr. Iyad Hassan Al-Emara with his research tagged Imam Al-Kadhim (p) and his integrative role in the Islam movement. Ms. Sahar Nouri Al-Sarraji participated in her research tagged (intelectual injustice and gaging mouths). Then the title of the symposium and the participating research were discussed by the attendees, who took into account commitment to health controls and distance for the health of all. The seminar concluded with the distribution of certificates and shields to the participants.
