The Director of Avicenna E-Learning Center at the University of Basra, Dr. Uday Bashir Issa, visited the College of Science and met with the Dean of the College, Prof. Muwaffaq Fadel Jabr and the scientific assistant, Prof. Alaa Hassan Abdullah, where a meeting was held in the presence of the officials of e-learning and information technology in the college with the members of the central electronic follow-up room in the college.
The visit included reviewing the central follow-up room, synchronous lessons, and discussing the ministerial team’s instructions regarding the design of interactive electronic lectures, adherence to lesson timings according to the daily schedule, the use of discreet electronic platforms and the preparation of reports.
It was agreed to establish official emails for students of the Faculty of Science, according to the university digital for students. As well as starting the preparation procedures for using E-Learning platform in the College of Science, starting from the second semester.
In conclusion, the representative of the university praised the efforts of the College of Science and their dedication to excellence by requiring ministerial instructions and the success of e-learning sobriety in order to serve our generous university and our beloved country.
