The Geology Department in College of science discussed a Ph.D. thesis titled mineralogy, geochemistry, and Industrial evaluation of Fatha gypsum rocks in Zurbatiyah area Eastern Iraq for graduate Ms.c. student Ajel Swain Yaseen Al-Hadadi the thesis aims to Studying the petrography of Gypsum in order to identify their varieties and their micro textures. Identifying and describing of mineralogy and geochemistry of Fatha formation in selected sections in Zurbatiyah area (eastern Iraq). and Industrial evaluation of Gypsum raw materials for juss, plaster of paris and product a gypsum panels composite according to local and international requirements of gypsum industry.
