The College of Science in Geology Department discussed a master's thesis titled (Geochemical assessment of elements in the recent sediments for selected areas in Maysan city- southern Iraq) for postgraduate student, Sarah Talib Kattab , the thesis aims to demonstrated the most important objectives of the study: the mineralogical study with knowledge of the main clay minerals of surface deposits in the city of Amara, southern Iraq and the geochemical study contains more than attractive concentrations of major elements and trace elements
