The Board thesis entitled; Displaced mid-shaft clavicle fracture in adult; comparison study between operative and non-operative treatment, was discussed at University of Basrah - College of Medicine. The thesis was presented by the student Raafat Hamid Safi, aimed to compare clinical outcome and complications between operative and non- operative treatment. The thesis concluded that operative treatment provide less union time With no major complications. The thesis recommended that the treatment of clavicle fracture need to be individualize according to Functional demand of the patient.
