The thesis, presented by graduate student Sarah Adil Chasib, aims to treat samples of contaminated water using organic-inorganic polymers and it was conducted using design of experiments (DOE) using response surface methodology (RSM) to polymer doses and treatment for each model.
The thesis concluded the efficiency of the composite polymer (AlCl3-PAM) in treating two types of polluted water (wastewater and polluted river water) according to the severity and sources of pollution.
