The College of Nursing congratulates the Presidency of Basrah University on the occasion of obtaining the second place locally in the Russian RUR classification for 2021

The Deanship of the College of Nursing at Basrah University, represented by Prof. Dr. Abdulameer Abdullah Almusawi, Dean of the College, and Lecturer Dr. Husham Hussain Abdul-Ra'aoof, Associate  Dean for Administrative Affairs and Lecturer, Dr. Adel Ali Hussein, Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, congratulates the Presidency of Basrah University and all its colleges and institutions on the occasion the university won second place locally and in the 665 global sequence in the Russian RUR (Round University Ranking) for the year 2021, where (48) Iraqi governmental and private universities appeared in this classification for this year.
This classification is based on (20) indicators distributed on four axes (education, scientific research indicators, international diversity, in addition to the financial sustainability of the educational institution).
It also adopts ( Clarivate Analytics containers) as the main source for data collection and evaluates 1100 universities and educational institutions from more than 82 countries around the world.
Note that our university came in second place locally and the sequence of 665 globally, after the University of Baghdad, which came in first place locally, and the sequence of 571 globally, while Al-Mustansiriya University came in third place locally, and the sequence of 680 internationally.
