The Continuing Education and Development Center at the University of Basra organized an online workshop about Financial and Administrative Corruption
The workshop aims to educate the public about corruption, way and methods of confronting it, to increas awareness of it, and to introduce its dangerous effects and consequences.
The workshop that was presented by Dr. Rifat Abdullah Jassim included :introducing the importance of this type of studies, also defining the term "corruption", its various study approaches, its forms and types, its danger on individuals, and society. The workshop also included the participants' discussion about the topuc.
At the end of the workshop, the presenter recommend holding workshops for state staff about this topic, and that the issue of financial and administrative corruption to be the priority to introduce it to the various segments of society because it is extremely dangerous
