The Cultural Center organizes a plastic exhibition of feminists here and the colors in its third edition

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, President of the University of Basra, and under the supervision of Dr. Abdul Karim Abboud Odeh, Director of the Cultural Center, the opening of the exhibition of feminist painting (they and the colors 3) took place today, Tuesday, 30/3/2021, on the hall of the Cultural Center, with the participation of artists and visual academics from different institutions and many artistic destinations.
The plastic exhibition, which was opened on behalf of the President of the University, the Dean of the College of Education for Girls, Prof. Dr. Abdul Wahid Al-Mansoori, aims to highlight the effective role of women in the fields of life and their role in the creative act, considering that women are an act and a permanent giving.
The exhibition included the presentation of many paintings whose artistic topics and methods of aesthetic expression differed. The exhibition was accompanied by a dialogue session on the data of art and the role of women in simulating the contradictions of life they live and ways to express them in artistic ways.
For his part, the Director of the Cultural Center, Prof. Dr. Abdul Karim Abboud Odeh, said, "The center embraced this exceptional feminist activity for the purpose of empowering visual women and giving them an effective role in social and cultural construction. He said that the cultural center is launched through this initiative to strengthen this social segment and interest in showing their abilities and creativity to society.
