The Cultural Center organizes the event of the Basma Child 3 project

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Basra, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Abdul Karim Abboud, in cooperation with the Injaz Basra Foundation for Development and Development, the Cultural Center, the University of Basra, organized an activity of the Basma Child Project on the gardens of Al-Farahidi Street, in the presence of a large number of intellectuals, visual families and civil society organizations
The Director of the Cultural Center, Prof. Dr. Abdul Karim Abboud, said, "Al-Farahidi Street represents an important community cultural lighting in the city of Basra, so the presence of the university crystallizes its vision within its relationship within its relationship with society, from this point of view, our choice for the Basma Child 3 project. Let's work to create cooperation pillars with Al-Farahidi Street.
Aboud added, "There are other institutions that contributed to the completion of the project, including the Children's and Family Library, the Anwar Ahl Al-Bayt Foundation for Orphans Care, and the Iraqi Formation Society, Basra.
The event included the presentation of the products of the first and second edition of Basma, a child for the year 2019/2020, the screening of films produced by him, and the selection of a group of orphaned children, numbering 25 children, who paint a large painting about peace and love under the supervision of the artists, Hassan Faleh and Hamed Saeed, from the Iraqi Formations Association in Basra.
In conclusion, gifts from the University of Basra were distributed to children and donations of clothes to the orphans participating from one of the visual families.
