A master's thesis discussed in the Department of Ecology at the College of Science at University of Basrah entitled "The effect of tides on the water quality in the midlle part of Shatt al-Arab River"
The thesis represented by the MSc. Student Dhuha Muhammad Jassim , which concerned on the use of Canadian water quality index (WQI) as an efficient method and precise to measure riverine water quality and stratification in Shatt .Monthly water samples from surface and bottom layers were collected from July 2019 to June 2020 at the middle part of the Shatt Al-Arab River during a tidal cycle.
