Under the auspices of the chancellor of the University of Basra, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi. The University of Basra is going to hold a specialized workshop under the title (Water Scarcity and the Future of the Shatt Al-Arab) at Al-Sayyab Hall in the University of Basra on Thursday 6/17/2021 at 10 A.M.
The aims of the workshop are to shed light on the water reality of the Basra Governorate and the quantitative and qualitative water scarcity it suffers from, as well as the current and future reality of the Shatt al-Arab through presenting visions and effective solutions to treat that issue. In this regard, University of Basrah invites all those who are concerned with the water reality to participate in this workshop through presenting summaries of research or studies or a working paper concerned with the above topics.
