Members of University of Basrah - College of medicine, participated in the training workshop held by the Training and Development Unit in Al-Fayha Hospital on CPR. The workshop was under the supervision of Dr. Nofal Al-Mubarak (Intensive Care and Anesthesia Consultant), Dr. Husam, Dr. Mustafa, Dr. Amer and Dr. Al-Hassan Al-Mujtaba, in the presence of a number of employees of Resuscitation, Emergency and Intensive care Units in the hospital The workshop included several topics, including a lecture on the circulatory system and methods of resuscitation under the supervision of Dr. Hossam (Anesthesia specialist) and a lecture on the respiratory system and methods of resuscitation under the supervision of nurse Sarah Hashem in the intensive care unit, and a lecture on methods of cardiopulmonary resuscitation with practical training under the supervision of Dr. Rafid Abed Al-Jabbar (consultant general surgeon and a member of the University of Basrah - College of Medicine).
The training workshop lasted for 3 days with the aim of developing the skills of medical and health personnel (resuscitation, emergency and intensive care personnel) that facing critical situations inside the hospital
