The College of Science at the University of Basrah organized a seminar entitled (Bacterial frequency in hemodialysis patients) by the graduate student, Muna Abdel-Sattar Faisal, The study aims to the investigate the microbiological quality of the water used in dialysis by isolating and purifying the most frequent types of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, as well as isolating bacteria from the blood of patients undergoing dialysis. The study included the identification of kidney failure disease, Its types and reasons for its occurrence, the definition of the dialysis process, and the identification of the water purification in the unit.
