The Department of Internal Department Affairs of Basra University organized a Guidance seminar on safety and civil defense with the participation of a number of supervisors and officials of the internal departments.
The seminar presented by Commissioner Haidar Jaber Odeh included how to avoid accidents, where civil defense is considered a lifesaver of natural disasters and fires and from any sudden emergency event.
The seminar discussed how fire extinguishers and building evacuations can be used by the Civil Defense Unit in partnership with the Civil Defence Directorate in Basra Governorate.
The seminar aims to adhere to the application of safety measures to avoid fires occur .
