Department of pathology and forensic medicine at the college of medicine , University of Basrah, held a scientific symposium on developments in diagnostic methods used in pathology Microsatellite Instability (MSI) and Miss Match Repair (MMR)in colourectal)cancer-practi Approach. The seminar aims to introduce MSI screening and its relationship with colon cancer, how to diagnose these cases, and the extent to which it benefits in the treatment of these patients. The seminar recommended the need for an extensive study on the number of patients with colon cancer and changes in the genetic level in Basra.
