In his speech during the opening of the workshop entitled (Assessing the E-learning Experience in Iraq - Challenges and Solutions), which was held by the Council of Advisers in the Council of Ministers in cooperation with the Ministries of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Education and the Mesopotamian Valley Association, which was attended by local and international experts and specialists, the advisor of the Ministry of Education, Dr. Alaa Abdul-Hassan, said that Universities have absorbed an increase in the number of students by an additional 25% over the absorptive capacity of educational institutions in the academic year 2020-2021. The flexible blended education model has helped Iraqi universities increase the number of students studying in them to one million and sixty-seven thousand.
