The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Nabil Kazem Abdel-Saheb, honored the winners of the Iraqi Science Day awards, whose numbers reached more than sixty, distributed over the fields of distinguished research published in international scientific journals, the award for patents and intellectual property, the award for the best translated book, the award for the distinguished Iraqi scientific journal and the award for students Concerning the creative, voluntary encouragement work, the Distinguished Finished Class Students Project Award, and the Distinguished Research Center or Unit Award. In his speech during the Iraqi Flag Day celebration, which was held at Al-Nahrain University, in the presence of the Ministry’s advanced staff, university presidents, and a number of guests, the efforts of teachers, researchers and students joined forces in this The complex situation to achieve the goals of higher education in Iraq and the insistence on global competition and dealing with quality mechanisms that take into account the requirements and accommodate the multiple and renewable needs of society at the same time. He added that these creative scientists and researchers contributed to making Iraq's name forty-fifth globally in the dissemination of scientific research, sixth in the Middle East and third in the Arab world, and Iraqi universities and colleges achieved positive visible results in competition with their Arab, regional and global counterparts.
