The College of Science at the University of Basra has discussed a PhD thesis on improving oil extraction using biological products produced by Bacteria isolated from various sources for the Rafidiya oil field in Basrah. The viva was for the postgraduate student Asaad Faraj Hamzah. The study aims to isolate and diagnose some bacterial strains from oil sources and the possibility of using their products to improve oil extraction.
