The College of Science at the University of Basrah organized a seminar entitled Evulation of some flavonoid compounds toward some fungi isolated from some fungal infections by the graduate student Afrah Talib Abdullah The study aims To find an alternative treatment from plants that has an antifungal effect and included Isolation and identification of types of dermatophytes, keratinophilc and yeasts, separation and purification of flavonoid compounds from chamomile flowers, and study of their effect on isolated fungi in vitro. and the study was recommended the use of flavonoids extracted from plants in the production of antifungal drugs to be alternatives to industrial antifungals that have harmful side effects on the body.
