University of Basrah, Al-Daleel Institution for Doctrinal Studies and Research, associated to the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, and the Holy Quran Academy for Quran Memorization and Islamic Studies, organized a cultural symposium on the crisis of religious and academic education and the vision of solution, with the participation of researchers from various Iraqi universities.
The symposium, which was held under the motto "The Crisis of Religious and Academic Education and the Vision of Solution" aimed to introduce students and professors to religious and academic education and the solutions to this crisis.
The symposium focused on three areas. The first dealt with the importance of education, the second explained the methods of education, whereas the third area identified the types of education.
The researchers in the symposium called for devoting attention to education at all levels in the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Higher Education, working to form a true vision of the education crisis, and working on clarifying educational methods to work according to them.
