The College of Nursing at the University of Basrah organized a practical lecture on the skill of performing a urinary catheter (Foley catheter), in which the assistant lecturer, Alia'a Hussein Ali, gave a lecture. The lecture included practical work in the women's laboratory on the skill and how to apply urinary catheters, when to use this application, contraindications to use, and the practical and scientific benefit of urinary catheters. The practice aimed at introducing students to the most important steps of urinary catheterization, in addition to identifying educational methods to apply them in practice. The students practically applied this skill and how to perform it in the correct practical manner. |
