A number of third-year students in the College of Dentistry University of Basrah had visited the laboratories of Al-Sadar hospital under the supervision of: Assistant. Professor Dr. Salman Sahab Atshan a lecturer in microbiology, Lecturer. Dr. Raghed Mohammed Jassem, Lecturer. Dr. Raed Taha and Assistant. Lecturer Dr. Najwan Sadeq, to get realistically acquainted with the methods of isolating and diagnosing pathological causes and how to handle them.
This visitation also included the ( PCR laboratories) where the COVID-19 virus is diagnosed, as the students got acquainted with how to handle Covid-19 Swab Tests, isolation methods and diagnosing the disease using ( Real time – PCR).
