The College of Dentistry University of Basrah has denied the ongoing news on social media which claims that a Syrian student named Suhaib Khateb is getting the first placement with a GPA of 98.7% in the College of Dentistry University of Basrah.
This denial came through the words of Mr. Jawad Neama Jafar Al-Maliki head of registration and student affairs who stated the following "we would like to say that there is no truth behind the news which claims that there is a Syrian student named Saeeb Khateb from our neighboring country of Syria is getting the first placement in the College of Dentistry University of Basrah as the news mentioned on social media. Especially, on the Facebook pages of (Taqis Damascus, Manadhir Daraa Aljameela), since there is no student in our college named Saeeb Khateb. As we appreciate and welcome the Syrian students in our University".
